This is from their teacher about Saturday's class.
Here's a little dose of religious school cuteness on an icky, rainy day. Last Saturday we celebrated Tu Bishvat, the birthday of the tree's. We received some help from Grover by watching Grover Plants a Tree on Shalom Sesame. Grover taught us that Tu Bishvat is the birthday of the tree's, and to celebrate we plant tree's and eat food that comes from tree's. As a class we talked about all the different things that tree's provide us with such as air, paper, and food. We also talked about ways to celebrate tree's, like recycling to keep tree's around. In honor of the holiday, we made our own little tree's out of recyclable materials and added "branches" (wire) with different foods that are eaten for Tu Bishvat. Since Grover said that we should plant tree's, we made a class garden out of Lego's. Everyone worked so well together on this project and it turned out great. To top off the day, we had a special treat, clementines!
I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

Annie
Clara and Emma had a wonderful afternoon in the city.
First, it was off to the American Girl store with Aunt Alyssa, Uncle Ryan and Gramdma Kathy.
After dinner, it was a short walk through Times Square to the theatre. It was really amazing to see Clara and Emma view Times Square at night. They kept turning their heads and didn't want to miss it!
And for the evening activity, the kids saw Annie on Broadway with Mommy and Auntie. Emma sang throughout the show! They loved it.
On the walk to the car, Clara saw people in a restaurant and says "Mommy, people are eating at night!" It's the city that never sleeps!

4th Time A Charm?
Clara had her tubes removed and a 4th set put in. She also had an adenoid revision- which just means some grew back from when they were removed at 18 months.
She was feeling well enough to do some crafts.
