It has been a very busy several days here at the Gornstein house.
Wednesday featured Great Play and a visit to the doctor to chat about Emma's stomach issues. Of course, Mommy was shocked to learn that Emma had a small ear infection. The doctor decided against antibiotics and hoped that it would go away.
On Thursday, Emma had a six month EI development evaluation early in the morning, before Mommy headed to NYC to meet friend Lisa Silverman for coffee.
Clara continues to have a fun time wearing the purple bucket as a hat and pushing her doll stroller around. She also loves to chase Emma (and vice a versa) trying to give her a hug. Heather came both on Thursday (for a make up) and Friday for a regular PT session with Emma. Clara and Emma both wanted to do "row row" and Clara even said the words, while Emma got the pillow to set up for it.
Today, Clara and Emma headed to Mt. Sinai, NY to see Seth, Amy, Benny and Lilah Nerhke who were in town visiting Amy's parents. Seth and Amy hadn't met Clara and Emma and Mommy and Daddy hadn't seen Benny since he was about a year old and hadn't met Lilah. It was a nice morning that featured golf and bagels, of course.
The ladies took a short car nap and played at home before heading to friend Eli's second birthday party at Davis Park. Pizza and cake were enjoyed, but both Clara and Emma couldn't get enough of being pushed in the toy cars. Mommy gave the ladies cut up peaches, but soon remembered that Clara and Emma seem to be sensitive to this food as they both got a few hives.
