Mommy went in to find that Clara had thrown up at some point in the middle of the night, disproving the theory that she had choked on something earlier in the day causing her to vomit. She seemed to run a low fever most of the day and wasn't really interested in eating.
Daddy came to help the ladies move out and move in to the permanent home. Since there was a little work still going on, everyone headed to Stars for bagels. Clara and Emma didn't really eat the bagel, but preferred the cream cheese off the bagel and licked it off and tried to even eat the cup of cream cheese with a spoon. After a trip to Buy Buy Baby for some baby proofing things and to Trader Joe's, it was off to the Dobbs Diner for an early lunch. Eggs, fries, toast and more didn't interest either kid today. However, jelly seemed exciting as Emma licked the jelly off the bread and Clara tried to eat it with a fork.
On the way into the house, Mommy tripped and fell with Clara. Clara was totally fine and Mommy twisted her ankle. Mommy is just trying to take it in stride. After the ladies napped in their room for the first time and in the same crib to calm Clara because she kept yelling for Emma and was so overtired, the gang headed to Best Buy. Clara requested a "juice box" in the car and said it pretty clearly.
Clara and Emma loved running around the store and at one point, Daddy asked Mommy to watch both of them and of course, they ran in different directions giggling. Clara has really picked up speed and Emma isn't far behind. Clara and Emma found the display for Guitar Hero and picked up the guitars, microphone and drums and tried to jam. It was too funny. Clara also tried to figure out the Nintendo display.
Both ladies didn't really want dinner- oatmeal and bananas- usually a favorite. And, the bath was again a challenge. Daddy had to stand in the tub to help and at least Clara sat down for a minute. Emma refused to go in and tried to color with her bath crayons from the outside. Mommy and Daddy aren't sure what is going on. Emma found some of her blankets in a yet to be unpacked box and Mommy told her the name of the animal on the blankie was a hippo- so she kept saying "hi hippo."
