While Mommy went to a big TRPG/Afternaptime event at JCREW, Clara and Emma stayed home and played with their guitar and new alphabed bead necklaces.
In the afternoon, the gange headed for Citibabes for indoor play and a Lil' Bits Puppet Show. During indoor play, Clara screamed with joy climbing up and going down the slide. Her favorite activity remains taking the fake food in a basket, bringing it with her and tossing it down the slide, before sliding down to get it. It was super cute. Emma wasn't sure about some of the puppets if they came close, but from a distance, thought it was funny. Clara enjoyed playing the drum and Emma played a harmonica as part of the show. At the end, Emma got to meet the "girl puppet."
After coming home for a quick dinner and clothes change to pajamas, it was off to GHC, Clara and Emma's nursery school for Pajama Storytime. It was also a time to give back as Clara and Emma gave new pajmas and books to the Pajama Program-this is one of Mommy's new favorite charities too- pajamaprogram.org.
Clara and Emma were so excited to be in their classroom and went straight for the kitchen and dress up area. Emma did stop by and visit the Rabbi who was reading a story, but quickly moved on. Only when they heard it was snack time did Clara and Emma join the group and sit down at the table for cookies and milk. Emma exclaimed "I love milk, yummy." Which, of course, is funny, since neither kid drinks milk. It was also a time of "monkey see monkey do" as Emma copied some of the older siblings of the 2's kids and dunked her cookie in milk.
Mommy got home a few minutes after their usual bedtime and the ladies were excited to see Daddy. After a short story, it was off to bed.
