This week in the 3's Oct. 29, 2010
This week the 3-year-old class has been concentrating on the concept of friendship - that we are all friends and that if a friend asks to join a group to play, we always say yes. We read one of the Rainbow Fish books, and made a glittery pink rainbow fish as an art project.
We decorated our tzedakah bear with coin stickers so he looks more full. The children are enjoying "feeding the bear" on Friday for Shabbat, and we talk about what the money will be used for by the people who receive it. Please try to remember to send in a few coins with your child for Shabbat.
As we finish October (and orange!) we will be moving on this week to painting with green at the easel by mixing blue and yellow paint. We will also discuss "green", as in environmentally conscious. We have already talked about recycling and will continue to learn ways to be "green" at school and at home.
We celebrated Shabbat with Emma's mom - last week we celebrated with Clara's!
