"But That Is For Boys!"

This morning, Clara and Emma wore their new fancy party shoes and got dressed up for school. Mommy and Daddy took them out of school at 10 for the bris of the new baby on the block, Aiden Benjamin aka Kayla's new baby brother. Clara and Emma noticed how little he was and both said he was cute. During the "snip" part, they played outside with Kayla and other friends from Rest Ave, Shana and Lukey-super cute.

After a quick trip home, Mommy took Emma to the city for her follow-up appointment at Cornell. When Mommy said she was taking Emma to the doctor, she ran under the table screaming "no. I don't want to go. No tubes. No pinch." It was so sad. But, Mommy told her she could watch Cinderella, she agreed. A nap in the car, she woke up ready to go and was pretty good once she was reassured there was "no tubes. no pinch," involved. At the end of the appointment, Emma announced "that wasn't bad at all!" Phew.

Emma kept talking to Clara on the way home, and then would say "Clara isnt here. Where is Clara? I keep talking to her?" Clara also talked about Emma and the two greeted each other with hugs!

Nick Jr. changed their lineup and added a new show at 5 pm. Clara and Emma had no interest. So Mommy looked for a new station with a show they would want to watch. Mommy put on Thomas and Emma responded: "Thomas is for boys, not girls." So much for equal television viewing.

Over dinner, pizza for the ladies made by them, Mommy found out that Clara had told Daddy he missed the place that he was taking her - Ahh, a girl after her Mama's heart!
