A Little Flood On a Friday

Or as Emma said, "where is the blood?" Yes, it has rained for two days straight and when Mommy
went down to the garage, there was water! Mommy spent most of the day trying to clean it up and keep the kids- home from school because it was a Jewish holiday (next week will be their first 5 day week) busy!

Mommy broke out some of the art projects that Clara and Emma got for their birthday and it was perfect - Clara literally spent 2 hours painting. She didn't budge and wouldn't stop. Emma spent a few minutes painting but didn't have the attention span of her sister.

For a change of scenery and even though it was raining, Mommy got the ladies out to lunch at Panera where they were so excited to carry their chocolate milk to the table. And, the ladies even took a nap in their beds! Of course, they required a change into their tights and leotards that they found above their pjs- and insisted on going to ballet and danced around like ballerinas for added effect. Yay!

In the afternoon, Clara and Emma wanted to play with the glitter princess paper. So, in the kitchen they colored these papers. Oh, not a good idea. Not only were they covered in glitter, but the entire kitchen and pretty much everywhere they went! Mommy and Daddy cleaned the floor several times, but it is still quite sparkly. New rule: No glitter paper at home!
