Clara and Emma have been excited all week for Mommy to come to school for Shabbat (and yes, Mommy will make a return appearance next week). Mommy came to school at 11 and got to hear some of the songs the kids have been singing. For Shabbat, Mommy helped with the blessings over the candles, wine, and challah. And, in true Frome tradition, it took three tries for Mommy to light the matches... Clara's kippah kept coming off and she held it on with one hand. After snack- where Clara and Emma ate several pieces of challah and cream cheese and drank grape juice, Mommy read 2 books (one for each lady), Fancy Nancy and The Giant Jam Sandwich.
