It was a gorgeous day- cooler temps and bright sunshine.
Clara woke up with a little runny nose, but very happy. Clara and Emma participated in their first walk, The Food Allergy Walk in Westchester with Mommy. Of course, they both wanted to push the stroller five steps and then would climb back in, so after a half mile, Mommy stopped fighting and took the kids to enjoy the bouncy castle and some arts and crafts. It was a nice event to spend the morning at.
The ladies thankfully took a more than 2 hour nap. Mommy attributes it to Daddy putting them to sleep- he clearly has more patience at this point than Mommy with Clara and Emma's shenanigans. And after it was off to Dobbs Ferry for Ferry Festa. The ladies enjoyed a yogurt with pick your own toppings at Go Greenberry- a brand new Dobbs addition and walking through the streets. It was nice to see it so packed and lively! Clara loved dancing and is for sure going to be the kid that follows the band. A groupie in training.
Emma has been complaining that music is too loud when she hears bands live- and such was the case this morning when Music for Aardvarks was playing and again this afternoon hearing a Springsteen cover band at Ferry Festa. Let's hope she'll enjoy the Laurie Berkner concert in the morning because she has been talking about it for days!
