A Coyote Sighting In Ardsley

So while Emma didn't poop again (day 4), she slept through the nite! In fact, Clara woke up before Emma and Daddy was able to extract her so Emma slept a little longer. The ladies were so excited for school and walked right in- Mommy couldn't be happier!

And this morning, while driving down the hill, Mommy saw her first coyote. Yes, that is a coyote- Mommy googled it to see photos and that sure was a coyote. And, in Westchester, everyone is very aware of coyotes because there have been several attacks on children... Let's hope this one was trying to find its way out of Ardsley.

Since Clara and Emma didn't stay for afterschool programming, offered twice a week (but one day would cost $70 for both), Mommy took the kids for lunch with some friends. Emma and Clara had no problem ordering "butter pasta please," came out of both their mouths. Emma made the waitress laugh when she said "I'll have a lemonade. That is one lemonade (with her finger pointed) and she'll (pointing to Clara) have a chocolate milk. Thanks). They loved coloring and eating their pasta and bread, but when they were done, they were done, and Mommy took Emma kicking and screaming out of the place. And, they were so overtired, they wouldn't nap. But, they rested and somedays, that is all you can ask for! They were so wild post dinner, it was nearly impossible to get them to bed. Clara and Emma wished cousin Lucas a happy 3rd birthday, screaming and giggling into the phone. They'd get into bed and jump right out to run around the house yelling "catch me." Mommy was so so so happy to see Daddy, who was able to get them to bed without to much fuss.

Tonite, Daddy just went to check on the ladies and found Clara sleeping on the floor next to her bed. No ideas how she got there, but this is a first.

Wednesday is another day. Wednesday is another day
