Clara and Emma came out of school and couldn't wait to put on their fire hats from their visit with the Dobbs Ferry fire department. Emma put it on and walked around saying "I'm a firefighter, I'm a firefighter." Emma also kept talking about how there wasn't a loud noise, "so I wasn't scared."
And, for the first time in a while, Mommy got the kids to take a nap without too much of a fight. Believe it or not, Emma pooped again- so Mommy is waiting to hear back from the doctor because now she is at the other extreme.
They were so much more pleasant this afternoon and behaved very nicely with their friend Allie at their playdate. They loved drawing with chalk outside, playing on the swingset and enjoyed playing dress up.
Clara insisted on a bubble bath- but not just a few bubbles, she needed as many bubbles as possible- she wanted to be covered in bubbles. Her new thing is that if there is water to be seen with no bubbles, she gets very unhappy and sometimes, Emma helps her move bubbles to cover the empty spots.
