The drive was 1.5 hours and Clara and Emma enjoyed waffle and squeeze yogurt in the car (Mommy has found that freezing them has made them less messy, more portable). Th;e ladies stood at that gate with Emma announcing that she was there for breakfast and "let me in!" Finally, at 9:15, the gates opened and the ladies waltzed in.
Oscar greeted them from his trash can and then the headed into the breakfast, where Elmo, Big Bird, Bert, Ernie and Zoe were waiting for them. Emma went right over to Elmo and sat with him, while Clara wanted nothing to do with it and was scared. Once Mommy showed them that they could also do high fives, Clara was happy. While Daddy got food, Zoe came to sit with Clara and Emma- they were so happy.
The ladies enjoyed the carousel, the flying fish, and the tea cups. Then, it was off to see Elmo's World, featuring Elmo, Dorothy and of course, Mr. Noodle. After changing into bathing suits, the ladies enjoyed a rock show and rushed the stage like true little fans. Emma cried at the end because Bert didn't give her a high five. The lines for food were long, so Mommy and Daddy decided to stick with the snacks and continue to enjoy the park. The ladies enjoyed the sprinklers and then the wading pool and play area too. After another carousel ride and some ice cream, it was time for the parade. They got to see all of their friends, and more- Abby, Rosita etc. While they were so tired- Emma was ready to fall asleep, they loved the parade.
It was time to go and back in the car, the kids fell asleep right away. With one pee stop,the gang arrived at Grandma and Grandpa's at 6. Clara and Emma were so excited to see them right outside waiting for them!
