Today, the kids enjoyed a morning at Harbour Island in Mamaroneck. Just about a twenty minute drive, Clara and Emma were so excited to wear bathing suits and to put their sand toys in the car.
The ladies loved meeting up with friends Naomi and her boys, Eitan and Micah. A highlight was floating on the dragon raft for a few minutes. Emma certainly figured out how to lounge on a raft quickly. Clara and Emma went straight for the water and made themselves comfortable in the sand. They enjoyed sharing snack and then finally tried out the sprinklers and enjoyed it.
And, Mommy and Naomi changed the kids in front of each other. The boys were standing there and Emma said "what's that sticking out." So, a real anatomy lesson began. Mommy and Naomi explained the appropriate words for private parts and what boys had and what girls had.
Arriving home, Emma turned around at the top of the stairs with a huge grin and said, "I have a vagina." The gals were so tired, Mommy put them down a few minutes early.
