After a long weekend of adventures with Grandma and Grandpa Frome in Maryland, it was time to come home. Evertyhing seemed fine and the gang left very early, around 7:15 am, with hopes of stopping at a sight on the way up. Until, Emma, with hives on her face due to cream cheese, threw up in the car suddenly. With Emma screaming and covered in vomit and Clara yelling "Mommy, it is on me, disgusting," Daddy couldn't pull over soon enough.
After cleaning everyone and everything, it was time to get back on the road. Emma seemed completely fine and wasn't complaining at all.
A few things were different on this trip...
Grandma and Grandpa didn't need to put a gate up- Clara and Emma went up and down the stairs, slowly and carefully.
Clara and Emma enjoyed sleeping in their big girl beds and napped and went down for the night easily. Outside of the last night, where Emma tried to climb across the desk to visit Clara, they both knew the rules of staying in their beds.
