Wandering Around on a Saturday

Emma woke up almost an hour earlier than usual- at about 6:40, and also woke Clara up. After Mommy got back from the gym, she took the gals to the Hartsdale Street Fair. It was quiet, with lots of balloons. The clown walked by and as Mommy started to say "she might get scared," Emma started screaming. The entire rest of the day, Emma said the following, "I don't like the clown. I was scared. Clown went bye bye." At least the got balloons, which they liked. Mommy also stopped at the farmer's market and got some yummy food. Clara and Emma also each ate a pickle, and as Emma also made sure to say the entire day " I ate a pickle."

This afternoon, it was off to Larchmont to check out Vanderburgh park. It was a lovely afternoon for the park- in the shade it wasn't hot at all. Clara and Emma loved the big sandbox- and all of the trucks, shovels, buckets and carts that were there to play with too. Clara also liked hanging from the bar where the slide was and Emma spent most of the time on the swinging requesting to go "higher, higher."

After a stop at the store, it was time to head home. During dinner, Clara and Emma had a conversation with Grandma and Grandpa Gornstein too. Clara enjoyed playing her guitar and sang along the "ABC's." She even asked Mommy to sing it again so she could jam to it.
