The class started out with a tea party which included stretching- to get the kids to put their legs like a "butterfly" they put "peanut butter" and "jelly" on their feet and stuck them together. It was amazing watching both Clara and Emma listen and follow directions. Then, they did a few dances. They learned to gallop across the room, pause at the bar for some poses and run on their tippy toes. They did a mini obstacle course and some rolling. They even got to wear tutus at the end and do a little "performance." Adorable.

Clara and Emma Take Their First Ballet Class
This offically ranks as one of the cutest things Mommy has done with Clara and Emma. This morning, after speech, Mommy took the ladies to Central Park Dance for a trial ballet class. The teacher was incredible and Clara and Emma loved it. The parents/caregivers all stood in the back and Clara and Emma did wonderfully with that situation and would occassionally pause to wave or get a hug, but otherwise participated on their own.
