A Very Busy Tuesday

Emma woke up and after Daddy changed her, it was off to the car for a short drive to the opthamologist. Emma had another follow-up appointment from her surgery in February. Today, the doctor removed the stents. Emma was a good sport and while she screamed in the papoose they put her in, he removed them quickly and at the end she said "I did it." She has a little bruising- but is fine. If you ask her what she did this morning, she says " I did it at the office, I didn't like it."

While Emma was at the doctor, Clara had speech therapy with Daddy. Mommy got back just in time for the end. Then, it was off to Citibabes for a trial class of Master Movers and some play time with friends. Clara and Emma enjoyed the muffins and juice boxes that were provided for kids. It was also fun for Mommy because she got to catch up with so many friends!

Mommy had to take a quick drive to Yonkers to get the car fixed while the ladies were napping- don't worry, Samantha was at the house! Mommy just would like to thank the Garmin for instructing her to get on the Sprain, off the Sprain and on it again and then off at the right exit and Mommy got off about 500 ft too early. Why couldn't it just take the side streets? No comment.

In the afternoon, the gang headed to Mamaroneck to see Mommy's friend Ali, her husband Seth and their baby Myles. Clara and Emma loved climbing their stairs, playing on his gymini, and taking the rocks out of their place and playing in the dirt on their deck. After a few rounds of the slide, including one where Emma went head first (she's fine, Mommy, not so much), it was time to head home.

Dinner featured a new staple- chicken nuggets and Clara's new favorite food, ketchup.
