Ready for Broadway!

Clara and Emma went to two trial classes at Applause! with The Rivertown Play Group . The morning started out at Broadway Babies with a show of Wizard of Oz. Mommy didn't know what to expect and thought the ladies might be scared by the costumes, but Emma loved it all. Emma stood right next to the performers and followed all of the movements. The second class was Rock N Roll Babies which had a theme of "Hair Bands," so the music was from Poison etc. Clara's favorite part was the pom poms, but both liked bopping to the music. Emma thought the puppet show was funny and stood there waving at the puppets saying "I say hi." Clara and Emma also liked playing the lolipop drums. At the end, there were baby dolls to hold and Emma collected them, put blankets on them and put them down for a nap and then joined them and said "I tired, time to nap." Both classes had bubbles- a huge hit!

This afternoon, it was off to Citibabes for indoor play and a trial class. Lots of friends were there and it was fun to catch up! Clara and Emma loved the drums. Emma wanted to watch tv and Mommy said, "ok, go watch." Emma said "ok, I will."

Now when Clara and Emma are done eating and come out of their highchair, they take their food and wave their hand over the trash can for it to open and put the trash in (and sometimes the plate and silverware). They even take the cups to the sink and put them in.

Tonite, Mommy was reading them some of the new Elmo books and realized that these are long books and Clara and Emma are completely engaged by them. The girls are growing up!
