For The Love of Ketchup

After breakfast, which featured a drum session, Emma had a make up physical therapy session this morning. This afternoon, it was off to Citibabes to play and check out the class, Cititunes. Clara and Emma loved it! It was fun to have lots of friends like Eli, Charlotte and Jared there too. The ladies got to play the drum, march around and more! It was really amazing how the teacher kept all the kids engaged! After the class, the gals stayed for a little concert and ice cream and hung out with Eitan and Micah, while Mommy chatted with Naomi. On the way home, Emma said she wanted to watch Mickey and then started singing the opening song- sort of a magic phrase of sorts that the show starts with. Mommy realized that she really does take in everything she hears- whether from tv or conversation and retains it.

It is evident that Clara has the ketchup gene from her Daddy. You see her Daddy loves ketchup so much that when he was a kid, he took it with him to Argentina when he went to visit (they didn't have it back then). Mommy gave Clara and Emma chicken tonight and Clara demanded ketchup and in fact, had a tantrum because she thought Mommy didn't give her enough!

Daddy arrived home while Clara and Emma were taking a bath and just in time for their "show." Mommy said it was time to wash hair and bodies and Emma said, "okay,Clara, you do my back, I ready." She promptly turned around so Clara could put soap on her back and Clara, of course did it. And, yes, Emma also did Clara's back.

After their bath, both enjoyed playing with their "Nina Ballerina" puzzle and putting the shoes, hair bow and tutu on the magnetic doll. And, Clara again wore her many hair ties as bracelets and announced she was wearing "jewelry."

This evening, Daddy asked Emma why she didn't want to put the show on the ballerina and Emma responded, "because." This has happened several times over the past few days and Mommy and Daddy can't even believe it is starting already!
