Later in the morning, Auntie Alyssa joined in and headed to Central Park with the Gornstein girls. Clara and Emma got to play with twin friends Matthew and Andrew and their Mommy, Carrie and friends Max and Gabe and their Mommy and Daddy, Robin and Adam. The kids loved feeding the goats with Mommy. Clara became obsessed with jumping on the lily pads. All she wanted to was go through the "car wash" type curtains and go play in the area with the rabbits and turtle shells for them to climb in etc. Clara had several meltdowns because Mommy wouldn't let her go in- it was not Clara's usual behavior, but probably because she wanted to run around and she was tired.
Mommy had taken the Baby Jogger stroller, which she hasn't been used in some time, and it was a good decision. The kids had lots more room and both took a great nap on the way down to Daddy's office.
When everyone got home, Mommy noticed a purple flower in the grass and showed everyone- so appropriate for the first day of spring! Grandma and Grandpa Gornstein came for a visit. And, with the gift of new toys and some pushing, Clara finally took a bath and enjoyed it.
Daddy and Mommy enjoyed a nite out at Buon Gusto in Irvington- yum!
