This morning, Clara and Emma headed to Riverdale to see Mommy's friend Naomi and her twin boys Micah and Eitan. They all enjoyed playing at their great park, Paul's Playground.
And, the kids enjoyed a pizza lunch. Clara loved hugging the boys goodbye too- she is really such a flirt.
The good news is they were super tired and after a little crying, they took a good nap. This afternoon, they enjoyed playing with chalk outside with their friend from school, Gabriella, and her siblings Noah and baby Alexandra and their Mommy, Judith. Best part- they wore 3/4 sleeve shirts and pants and no jacket!
Tonight, while they should be sleeping, the are singing "Mary Had a Little Lamb" together. It is very sweet, but Mommy does wish they'd go to sleep.
They are also practicing some of Clara's speech therapy. Emma is saying "boo" and Clara is saying "Ah"- and then they switch. And, now they are doing "Blah, Blah, Blah" with Emma saying "Shh" and switching. This is too much.
And, tonight is the 5th anniversary of when Daddy proposed to Mommy and to mark it, Mommy and Daddy plan to enjoy the traditional chinese food on St. Patrick's Day- as was the situtation on that special night. As Mommy likes to remind Daddy, while it may be silly to mark this day, it is always a good to celebrate special times.
