"Mommy Say Yes"

Clara woke up and insisted upon wearing two tutus and her new Pinkalicious crown (thank you, Burger King). She pranced around until Mommy changed her for school, and yes, she wore two tutus to school- the purple one with the new bright pink one on top.

The gang said goodbye to Grandma Frome this morning as she headed to NYC to help Auntie Alyssa move to her new apartment in the city before heading back to Maryland tomorrow. It was such a nice visit!

On the way to school, Emma saw the new television and said "Mommy, I love my new television. I can't wait to watch it." Mommy hopes she knows that it is really Daddy's television and she will have to share!

When Clara came in the house after school, she said, "Where is Grandma?" Mommy said that she went home. Clara said "to Maryland?"

Clara and Emma asked for pudding (which they had wanted for breakfast, but Mommy said no). Mommy gave them chocolate pudding (Daddy- go to the store if you want any, because there is no more left. Your kids ate it). It ended up all over them- which was cute, of course. Clara wanted more, so she tugged at Mommy's leg and Mommy said "no." Clara said "Mommy say yes." Again, Mommy said "no." Clara walked around the house saying "Mommy say yes, Mommy say yes."

During this afternoon's sleepover party, Emma wanted her little pillow and said, "Mommy, I need the little pillows right now, okay, so please get them for me." Mommy gave her the travel ones and Emma looked up, grinned and said "Thank you Mommy."

Mommy tried to change Clara, but no go. Clara looked at Mommy, waived her finger and said, "no, not yet."

Another highlight was that Clara and Emma took their tights off and lay down on the floor for each other and asked to be "changed"

Dinner was a huge hit- featuring Grandma Silvia's mashed potatoes.

Clara refuses to take a bath- this is a new thing of about two weeks. Sometimes she'll get in and get right out and sometimes she won't go. Tonight, for the second time since last week, she sat on the potty and peed. And, she got an M & M and made sure to show it off to Emma, who didn't get one. Mommy let Clara wear underwear over her diaper. Mommy still hopes to wait another month until it is a little warmer and therefore, less clothing to potty train Clara and Emma, so right now, it is going with the flow.
