The Playground in the Snow

So much for waiting. Clara insisted on wearing underwear today and Mommy decided to just go with it. She had two accidents and wore pull ups for her nap. Mommy is just going to try and see how it goes. After another accident in the afternoon and Clara's insisting that the potty was too hard for her tush, Mommy forced her to wear a diaper.

Emma insisted on buckling herself in and said "I have time..." probably in reference to the fact that Mommy usually says "I don't have time, we need to get somewhere..."

Emma also wanted cereal and loves eating it with milk. She also makes the sign for cereal and says "I love it."

Clara noticed the tv in the playroom and said "big tv." Wait until they finally see it!

Saturday morning was a tough one. After weeks of typical two year old behavior, Clara and Emma refused to get dressed and ran around the house pushing each other. Mommy couldn't get them out of the house and felt defeated.

When Mommy cried, Emma came over and rubbed Mommy's back and said "its okay, I love you Mommy. I rubbing your back."

Later in the morning, Mommy took Clara and Emma to Lakeshore Learning for the weekly art project. Clara and Emma enjoyed playing hopscotch on their floor and using their fishing set. The art project was geared towards older kids and was crowded, so sort of a bust.

When Daddy got home from work, it was off to Ashford Park. While still snow and ice covered, the Gornstein gang braved it and enjoyed some time on the swings and slides.
