Clara and Emma got a special visitor, Aunt Jen, from NYC. She came without Maddie and Steve to go an art show nearby and stopped in for a quick hi. It was nice to see her and Clara and Emma loved showing her how big they are now.
Mommy and Daddy took Brianna's advice (thanks Bri) and decided to put the kids down a bit earlier- around 11i sh. They barely ate lunch-and it is hard to know if it is because they didn't like the grilled cheese (doubtful) or if they were just too tired (most likely). Clara and Emma slept until 1 ish. Emma had a hard time going down, but Mommy and Daddy think it was because she was overtired.
After a yogurt shake, Mommy and Daddy took Clara and Emma to the JCC on the Hudson for the Purim Carnival. It was very small, but Clara and Emma made some groggers and masks before leaving. Then, it was off to the park in Dobbs where Clara and Emma enjoyed swinging, sliding and wandering around.
The ladies were quite tired around 4 ish, so Mommy and Daddy gave them an early dinner. They weren't interested in the potoato gnocchi, but loved the spinach pancakes and the avocado. They polished off a whole one between them, which made Mommy and Daddy happy because there were eating something. Then, they took their forks and spoons, with Emma saying "scoop" and played with the avocado skin, trying to get more out - for 15 minutes. It was quite a mess to clean up! Finally, it was off to bed. Clara and Emma made it to 6, but Emma had a very hard time going to sleep. Mommy and Daddy went to visit and say goodnight again and off to bedy they both went.
