Today, Clara had a follow-up ENT appointment, so Mommy put Clara and Emma down for a nap at 10. After a few minutes of crying, they both slept until Mommy woke them up at 11:15.
Clara was amazing at the doctor. She had her ears examined her adenoids- after her nose was numbed, a tube was stuck in it to see them. She also had another test to measure fluid. Clara still has fluid in her ears, although the right ear has less. It also turns out that Clara's adenoids are quite large and blocking her airways, so they will also come out when Clara has surgery.
Grandma and Grandpa Frome came along and played with Emma, who apparently found the camera and said "picture, cheese" and insisted on being photographed. Mommy has no comment on this episode.
After the appointment, Grandma and Grandpa Frome headed home.
Clara and Emma didn't take much of an afternoon nap and were a mess around 5. Mommy tried to give them dinner and Clara wasn't interested- not even in strawberries. So, Mommy is convinced that moving them to one nap is a good idea, even if it is difficult right now.
