Saturday at the Central Park Zoo

On Saturday, Clara and Emma enjoyed a short car ride to NYC for a day in the big city with Mommy. The day began with a quick stop to Daddy's office to make sure everyone knew how to do their tax work. Clara and Emma made their rounds and then got a bagel before Mommy put them in the stroller. Mommy thought they might nap, but they didn't. Mommy go to the Central Park Zoo around 10 and met Aunt Alyssa there. It was such a fun time.

Mommy took the ladies out of the stroller and Auntie Alyssa held Emma's hand and Mommy held Clara's hand and pushed the stroller around. Emma and Clara had lots of energy and were very excited to be walking around and seeing things. When Emma and Clara saw the monkeys, Emma yelled "monkey." Mommy pointed out the polar bear swimming and Emma kept saying "fishie." Clara and Emma also got to see the little penguins, seals and a red panda.

While at the childen's zoo, Emma thought the sheep and llamas were hysterical and couldn't stop giggling. Clara just kept pointing at them. It was wonderful to see Michael- Auntie Alyssa' boyfriend, because Mommy and Auntie Alyssa needed help managing Clara and Emma and the stroller. Emma was kind enough to say "Michael" when Mommy said, "say hi to Michael." She also was able to get out some version of "Alyssa."

Michael and Auntie Alyssa accompanied Mommy, Clara and Emma back to the main zoo (after Mommy explained that she didn't know that once you leave the main zoo to go to the children's zoo, you can't go back), for the seal feeding. Clara and Emma enjoyed the seals, but were tired and just wanted to wander around. Mommy loaded them back in the stroller and was happy that they took a nap.

When they woke up, it was time for lunch at Johnny Rocket's on 3rd in the 50s. Clara and Emma loved the chocolate milk and didn't eat much else. Their favorite part of lunch was the balloons.
