The Official Nap Transition

On Wednesday, Clara and Emma enjoyed Great Play. Emma was in a great mood and when everyone went around and introduced themselves during circle time, she repeated the names of the kids. She was very animated, as usual, during the songs, doing all the hand motions by herself. Clara was a little cranky and didn't want to separate from Mommy.

Emma and Clara fell asleep in the car on the way home. Mommy moved them to their cribs and Clara slept. However, Emma wasn't so interested and stayed awake and was very overtired. Emma needed to go to sleep and couldn't and cried while Clara had her speech therapy. Mommy put them both in the car and drove around. They both fell asleep within minutes.

Today, Clara and Emma enjoyed all of their oatmeal and blueberry breakfast- which made Mommy and Daddy happy. After breakfast, Mommy put the ladies in the pit and they played very nicely on their own. Clara asked for Mommy's keys and enjoyed trying to open the toy house door with them. Mommy went to the gym and came back to find Emma and Clara had gone down for their nap at 10. This was important because Emma's physical therapy was at 12:45 and Mommy didn't want a repeat of yesterday. Mommy and Samantha let the ladies sleep until they woke up around 11:50. After lunch, Clara and Emma enjoyed sitting in their doll strollers- which was a new one for them both. Emma was a little fussy during physical therapy and her teeth still seemed to bother her. Clara enjoyed coloring with Samantha and didn't make a peep. Mommy tried to put Clara and Emma down for an afternoon nap. Clara could have fallen asleep, but Emma was screaming. So, Mommy loaded the gals up and took a trip to Target and Barnes and Noble, where Emma ordered her own bagel at the Starbucks. Clara and Emma were yawning and exhausted, so after a quick dinner, which of course, included strawberries, and a short bath, Mommy put Clara and Emma to bed a little early.
