Gotta Get The Scoop

This morning, Clara and Emma both did some training for the future careers following in Daddy's footsteps, as they discovered the wonders of the calculator. Mid-morning, they went to dance class. Emma had a great time from the start, while Clara clung to Mommy's leg and wanted to be carried. She did enjoy playing with the musical instruments and the scarves.

Clara and Emma enjoyed "scooping" their own applesauce for dinner. Mommy tried to get them to eat chicken and even mixed it in the applesauce, but only Emma fell for that trick. Clara made sure to pick each chicken piece out. Emma kept saying "scoop," and trying to do the spoon, but seemed to alternate with her hands in the bowl. Clara did a lovely job with the spoon.

Mommy left the young ladies in their room after their bath to grab something and came back to find that Emma had taken the top off the hamper and put it around her neck and was walking around saying "pretty," and modeling like it was a necklace. Clara and Emma have some new favorite books, including My First Body Book. Clara always finds the page with the pictures of babies with hair and pulls her hair. Tonight, they saw the picture of the baby doing peekaboo and both covered their eyes and did it. In another book, there is a picture of a lion and both ladies said "raaaar" and held up their hands, like Mommy taught them. Mommy's new routine includes singing "twinkle, twinkle" before putting them in bed and then turning out the lights and singing it again. Both ladies get their hands up in the air and doing their twinkling stars.
