Today, Mommy was tired and not feeling great, so the Gornstein girls had a morning at home filled with art, play and a little Sesame Street. Mommy put the ladies down at 11 am for their nap and they didn't sleep very long- a little over an hour. But, Mommy left them in their room until 1. After their nap, Mommy gave them lunch. Clara and Emma loved the pears but weren't so excited about the grilled cheese.
In the late afternoon, Grandma and Grandpa Frome arrived and joined Clara and Emma and Mommy at the supermarket. Clara and Emma loved the bagels Mommy got them and enjoyed eating them on their adventure in the store. At home, Clara and Emma showed Grandma and Grandpa all of their new art skills. They continued to enjoy their bagel at home. Emma would leave hers on the floor and Clara would bring it to her, time and time again. Mommy made eggs with cheese for dinner, which didn't appeal to Clara. However, Grandma suggested a banana, which they both gobbled up. Emma kept saying "scoop" with her fork, since she scoops her oatmeal in the morning with a spoon. Mommy explained that we "stab" with a fork.
Clara and Emma enjoyed a bath and drawing in the tub. It was a little slippery since it had just been cleaned, but they both thought it was funny to get their whole bodies in the water. Mommy wasn't thrilled, but Emma kept laying down and putting her face in the water and then giggling. The laughter didn't end there. Mommy and Grandma got the ladies in their pjs and started to read books. Clara and Emma were clearly overtired at this point, but having fun. Clara started to hug Emma and they fell to the ground together laughing at themselves. Clara stood up and went to hug Emma again and Emma walked away. Clara walked right after her and tried hugging her. The two of them couldn't stop laughing.
