It was a very busy morning getting everything ready for the afternoon in the city and to get out the door for school. Mommy even managed to squeeze in two manicures, with bright blue polish (Clara) and sparkles (Emma).
Clara and Emma couldn't wait to go to see the big Christmas tree in the city and made sure to tell everyone at school that they were going to visit it in the afternoon. Before the drive, the gang stopped at Andrus to drop off toys and money from The Rivertown Play Group for children this holiday season. The kids fell asleep on the drive which was quick into the city, but gridlock at 56th Street.
Clara and Emma loved seeing the big tree and all the "rainbow lights," and enjoyed watching the ice skating at the Rockefeller Center rink. A quick visit to Saks to see the windows and a walk past the boxes that "open and close" with beautiful jewels aka Cartier. Emma kept asking for a pretzel, so it being a city day, Mommy got her one. She ate some and had a ton fun trying to figure out how to put it back together with Clara. Then it was to the Argentinian Consulate to see Grandma Silvia. Clara and Emma wore their new dresses and party shoes for the party and enjoyed playing with the other children. They were also excited to get a gift from under the tree!
