For several weeks, Clara talks about her nest aka what she piles in her bed and sleeps on. She has an art to its design.
Before naptime, she asks Mommy to take everything out and for Mommy to spread the pink holey blanket. Then she says "okay, Mom. Stand back." And she put her pillow in, followed by her blankies and poodle and sheep, and then all of the various blankets. She visits the stuffed animal bin and tries to take several out (and needs to be stopped). She climbs in and says "I love me nest."
Today, Emma decided she needed to do it too and got as far as taking everything out before she gave up, climbed back in and asked Mommy to hand her her stuffed animals.
