This morning, Clara and Emma were excited to meet Nemo, their neighbor's fish that is now hanging out at the Gornstein house. Before they left for lunch, both had to go over and say "bye Nemo."
The ladies enjoyed lunch at the diner and came home and took a nap. Mommy decided to no longer put Emma and Clara in pull ups for naps- even if it meant accidents. At night, yes, but it is time to give up the nap pull up. Reminding them to go before and right after is key and sometimes they get it and sometimes they don't.
Mommy attempted to make a gingerbread house (failed using icing and fluff) and Daddy tried using a sugar mixture- no go. The kids liked the idea and were sad that Mommy and Daddy couldn't get it to work. Mommy will do a little research and find out what to do so that these nice Jewish girls can build and decorate a gingerbread house!
To make up for it, Clara and Emma made brownies and loved mixing! Then they made animal masks with Daddy. All Clara wanted to do was another "art project."
Late in the day, they played with their new Bake and Decorate Cupcake Set that they got at Grandma Silvia's holiday party last night. They couldn't wait to color the cupcakes, put the candles in and sing happy birthday.
Clara's been talking quite a bit and the big difference is the sound of her voice which is different.
