Except today. Clara got to eat the whole blue lollipop (wasn't that big) and had blue all over her face to prove it and even a smile.
And for what reason did she get to eat the whole thing? Well, after her nap, she was crying and seemed warm. She said she didn't want to go to her PT/Speech appointments. Mommy thought at first it was just a separation from Mommy thing because she said "Mommy, we leave Emma for her therapies and I go with you." Mommy took her temperature and it was 102. A quick call to Daddy who was on his way home for what was going to be a quiet afternoon. Daddy came home, quickly took a car seat out of Mommy's car and took Emma to her appointments while Mommy took Clara to the doctor.
Yep. 102.9 + a double ear infection. Mommy laughed. Yes, the kid that had her tubes out and tonsils out barely ten days ago already has an ear infection in both ears. So back on antibiotic it is and the official journey to the 3rd set of tubes has begun.
So Clara really enjoyed the blue lollipop, and said several times "blue is my favorite color."
