Mommy put the ladies in their painting clothes aka clothes from last spring/summer that were used for art classes and already quite colorful. Good thing, because the two gals had quite a time fingerpainting at the TRPG event at Fun Craft. Clara wanted several tatoos and Emma got one on her leg but didn't like that it had to get wet and be pressed in order to go on. Of course, they walked around showing them off all day.
Clara refused to wear her "painting clothes" to ballet and needed a whole new outfit, with her purple tutu too. On the way out, the Clara made sure to tell the Con Ed man that she was going "to ballet and wearing her purple tutu." It was just the ladies today, but they had a blast as usual. Emma took her socks off just like Clara to walk on the balance beam. Emma added "I have naked feet." Of course, this is funny, because she can't stand sleeping without socks on. Also, Emma asked for the princess book instead, which features several disney princesses and is about manners. Since it was just them, the teacher went to get it. Emma looked at the book and said "yes, that is the one I was talking about."
Clara didn't like that Emma put the cupcake nightgown on and pitched a very long fit with tears. Emma finally said, "ok, we can switch," and Clara jumped up and down with joy saying "thank you." Daddy got home in time to read their new favorite books about Ruby and Max (where in one, their Mom is actually mentioned).
