Ice Cream Truck

Clara and Emma enjoyed time outside with the sitter, Maddie, while Mommy went to a meeting and had her hair done at The Salon. The funny part was that when Mommy came home, Emma took one look and said "ooh Mommy, what did you do, it is so pretty."

This afternoon, Mommy took Clara and Emma to Davis Park in Scarsdale to meet friends Caroline and her kids Eli and Alice. On the way there, Mommy mentioned ice cream and Emma started "I scream for ice cream."  It was more manageable than last year, but a little difficult because there are lots of big kids there too. Clara and Emma loved being back in the sandbox and climbing all the equipment. Mommy promised them some ice cream if it came and of course it did. Clara and Emma waited in line and said "chocolate" when the ice cream man asked what they wanted. And, they got a fudgecicle. Emma licked it and then proceeded to pick out pieces with her finger and eat it- she barely made a dent. Clara however, gobbled up the whole thing and looked like the joker- her face covered in choclate.

In the bath tonight, the ladies played "baby." The each took turns crying, wearing baby clothes (aka a towel), drinking a pretend bottle and sucking on a pretend paci. They also enjoyed "watering" each other  - Emma said to Clara "okay, I'm watering you, you are a plant." The gals were very excited to see Daddy and have him read and put them to bed tonight.
