A Very Busy Monday

Clara and Emma looked for their Hanukkah bears and dreidels this morning- which they got last year. They got very excited to play with them. Daddy helped get the car out of the driveway and then Mommy took Clara and Emma to the gym. The roads were fine, but the parking lot was awful. Mommy couldn't use the stroller so she waited until Caroline came and brought Clara in first and then Emma, and then carried them down the escalator - a ride which they enjoyed. It was great because lots of friends, including Rachel and Sonya, Caroline and Eli and Eileen and Kayleigh went too. Mommy took the ladies home for a quick nap and woke them up at 11 so they could get to Matthew and Sofia's first birthday party. It was the "snow date" since Friday, everyone was trapped in their homes because of the storm! Clara loved walking around her friend Matthew's house and sharing puffs with him. Emma enjoyed smiling at everyone and saying "hi." They both loved the Elmo cake and weren't happy when Mommy said it was enough cake.

Mommy was glad to have Daddy home for the day. Emma started saying "tap" and tapping her feet and showed Daddy how she can "twist." She has picked this up from gym. Clara started saying "no." While the ladies napped, Mommy went to get a special visitor, Auntie Alyssa who was in the area. Auntie Alyssa read the "Where is Dreidel" book and enjoyed playing with Clara and Emma.
The ladies watched as Mommy lit and sang the blessings.Emma is working on the word "Hanukkah" and says the "chcc." Tonight, Clara and Emma opened their gifts from Uncle Adam, Aunt Christina and Lucas. They got the farm house, a mower, two different outfits each, a Yiddish Dr. Seuss book and a game. Thanks!

After a pizza dinner, the ladies also had a bath and enjoyed playing with each other's hair after Mommy styled it with soap.
