Clara and Emma enjoyed some french toast made by Mommy for breakfast and were excited to play with Daddy. Mommy and Daddy noticed how long both Clara and Emma's hair has grown recently- especially in the back!
In the afternoon, Mommy and Daddy loaded the car and headed to Long Island to Uncle Ilan, Aunt Sara, Matt, Andrew, Kayla and Michael's house to celebrate Christmas. While it isn't a holiday observed by Clara and Emma, they don't mind helping their cousins celebrate! Clara and Emma took a nap on the way there, which made Mommy and Daddy very happy. The traffic wasn't too bad either.
Clara, Emma and Mommy and Daddy got to meet the newest addition to the family, Michael, who is about 4 weeks old. Emma wanted to get in his swing, which Mommy and Daddy found quite funny. Both girls were very gentle and said hello to baby Michael.
Clara and Emma sat very nicely at dinner at the table. Emma ate with her fork, off a plate and loved everything. Clara was only interested in bread. After the meal, Clara and Emma joined their cousins and opened presents. Emma's face was priceless as she opened her mouth wide and bounced on her knees. Clara liked ripping the paper. When they were done, Clara wandered the house and Emma tried to help everyone else open their gifts. Both ladies were fascinated with Andrew's Star Wars helmet and tried it on. It was a fun day!
