A Packed Tuesday

Today was another very busy day for Clara and Emma. Clara and Emma enjoyed their new toys- the farm and the mower. This morning, Samantha, the babysitter came at 9 to help with Clara while Emma had her first physical therapy. Heather, Emma's physical therapist, came at 9:15 ish. Heather is also a neighbor and Mommy's friend, so Emma felt comfortable. Emma wasn't too happy the entire session and cried and cried, but, she walked all by herself several times- even across the room! Mommy and Heather were very excited for Emma. Now, Mommy and Daddy will need to practice some of the things Emma learned today over the next week.

Mommy loaded the ladies up and made the mistake of taking 287 - which was a parking lot- to White Plains. It took a very long time in the car to get to the new Greenburgh Library. Mommy was flustered and Clara and Emma were done with the car, but it was nice to see friends Rebecca and her sons Gabe and Sam- plus Kristina and Keisha! The library is very nice and a great place for kids. Clara loved all the books. She went up to the shelves and picked out a book and walked around with it and then did her usual backing up into Mommy to be read to. Then, Clara sat by the shelves and took books out and read them. It was quite something. Emma liked playing with blocks, found a puzzle, enjoyed a book with a duck and cuddling with the bear.

After a late nap, Clara and Emma awoke to find friends Rachel and Sonya, Jennifer and Annabelle and Heather and Allie. They had come over for a Hanukkah playdate. Mommy made latkes, which seemed to be a hit. Together, the gals lit the menorah and sang songs. During dinner, Mommy gave Clara and Emma some presents. Tonight, they got an Elmo remote- Emma said "wow" when Mommy gave it to her and wouldn't let go of it. They also got a new Sandra Boynton bath book. The also opened some gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Frome, including travel magna doodles, crayons, word flash cards, and a book- Button Nose.
