Meeting Aunt Raquel

Clara and Emma were excited to meet Great Aunt Raquel, Grandma Gornstein's sister, visiting from Argentina. Clara and Emma took everyone to their new favorite spot, Pumpernickel. Emma and Clara enjoyed their grilled cheese sandwich, fries and banana. Emma loved the music- it was the Grateful Dead- and she was swaying side to side. Mommy and Daddy were very pleased with her interest in this music as well.

In the late afternoon, Clara and Emma viewed the DVD that Aunt Raquel brought from Cousin Irina. It featured animals and Emma got very animated- pointing and opening her mouth wide with joy, smiling, swaying to the music and clapping along. Clara was tired, but also enjoyed it.

Clara and Emma enjoyed a bath and the bedtime routine with Mommy, Grandma and Aunt Raquel. Mommy and Daddy even took an hour to go get some food at Maud's Tavern.
