Double, Double, Double Fun

Monday was a very cold day! Clara and Emma got all bundled up and went to school. They hadn't been in two weeks and loved being back and seeing friends. Clara and Emma were excited to return to California Pizza Kitchen to have lunch with Stefanie and Ali. It was the first time the ladies had been able to hang out since the Gornstein gang moved to Westchester. They were tired and fell asleep right after lunch in the car. The afternoon was filled with playing around the house.

On Tuesday, Clara and Emma went to Great Play. The loved the opportunity to climb up on things, play in the ball pit and ride the parachute.

They fell asleep on the way home and Mommy tried to transfer them to their cribs, which usually works, but it didn't work this time. The ladies cried and Mommy finally gave up on them falling back to sleep and fed them lunch. After lunch, Mommy took Clara and Emma to look at a house. Clara enjoyed finding every stair and trying to go up, while Emma wanted to touch everything breakable.

The ladies were so tired that they slept in the car, so Mommy just headed over to Rebecca's house where Clara and Emma were having a playdate. When they woke up, Mommy took them in. It was a playdate with both sets of Clara and Emma's identical twin boyfriends, Eitan and Micah and Sam and Gabe. Mommy enjoyed time with Naomi and Rebecca (aka the moms of the boys). Clara and Emma played nicely and enjoyed the snacks Rebecca provided-- especially the graham crackers and cheese puffs. Clara was exhausted by 4 and started crying, just in time for the big picture.

As Mommy pulled into the driveway, Daddy was coming home, so Clara and Emma had some playtime with Daddy before dinner.
