Soccer Stars

Clara and Emma joined Mommy at her appointment at the dermatologist. They even got princess stickers for behaving well (bunny crackers and their "drawing things" helped). After a quick trip to Michael's- where they wanted to buy everything and loaded up the cart (why Mommy took them/didn't make them go in the cart is a very good question). The ladies enjoyed their first Soccer SuperStars class. They listened well and participated nicely- both were kicking the ball and having a blast- and talked about it all day! Funny enough that they were wearing their Cinderella and Beauty t shirts- a nice balance!
Mommy took them out to lunch and then home for a nap. Clara woke up after a short nap screaming, so it wasn't great and they were very tired.

In the car, Emma noticed the fire engines and said "oh, that truck is rojo, right?" Mommy was impressed. Emma went on to say "it is red, like the stop light." So Mommy asked her what color was azul, and she said "blue." And, she know"amarillo" too. Mommy asked her what other Spanish words she knew. She said "vamos." Mommy asked her what it meant and her response, "let's go." Then, came the best line- "I learned it on Dora, she speaks Spanish like Grandma Silvia."

The ladies enjoyed a fun indoor playdate at their friend Ryder's house.

Emma had an accident again today. She has good days and not so good days with potty training. Three months after being trained, she can tell you sometimes when she needs to pee, but sometimes she doesn't tell you soon enough and often gets distracted and forgets. So, when Mommy doesn't force her to go when she arrives somewhere, there is often an accident. Clara seems to be able to tell you that she needs to go, but still has the world's smallest bladder- she was thirsty this afternoon- and it was hot- so a small water bottle and water/juice later- she had to pee 4 times in about 45 minutes!
