Mommy slept on the floor in Clara and Emma's room last night after trying multiple times to calm Emma down and not wanting to give in to her request to sleep in Mommy's bed.
Emma wanted to read the Fancy Nancy book again today- but by herself. She sat down, opened the book and started reading- and knew every word. Now, Emma can't read, but she has been read the story so often in the past few weeks, that she knows it by heart.
Clara had a tantrum like none other she has had - over an hour of crying hysterically, throwing herself around, rolling on the floor and being unconsolable. Mommy tried everything- and Emma even went to get Clara's blankie- which Clara didn't want. Finally, she settled down, but Mommy couldn't get them out of their napping pajamas and it got too late to do anything.
All the Gornstein girls were happy that Daddy returned tonite from his business trip. Clearly, Clara and Emma are both overtired and are having a tough time settling down at night.
