Weinberg Nature Center

This morning, Clara and Emma visited the Weinberg Nature Center in Scarsdale for their toddler program. Joined by friend Ryder and his baby sister and Mommy, the kids enjoyed making bugs with color puff balls on sticks. Clara wasn't so into touching the animals and Emma, if Mommy was with her, loved it. Uhhh.. isn't it usually the other way around. They got to meet a chinchilla, turtle and a dove.

Before heading out, Clara looked like she needed to pee and Mommy asked if she wanted to go on the potty. Clara said she wanted to pee outside. So, Clara found a little corner but nothing happened. Finally, a few attempts later, she went on the potty.

Everyone enjoyed a nature hike down to see the streams. It was a lovely late morning activity and a beautiful day to be outside! And, the ladies were tired and ready for a nap when they got home!

This afternoon, it was off to Maiya's house to play. Clara and Emma loved playing on her new swingset and at the sand table. And, Emma managed to climb in the stroller, find Maiya's sister's paci and put it in her mouth and saying "I'm a baby." Maiya potty trained on the same weekend Clara and Emma did and the three of them enjoyed several trips to the potty.

A fun Friday!
