Fairway!

The morning started a little later than usual as the kids slept until 8:30 am. Emma decided to play with her yogurt. When Mommy asked why the yogurt was all over the floor and chair, Emma stated "Mommy, I made art. Don't you love it?"

Mommy isn't really sure that it is a good thing that the highlight of her day was taking Clara and Emma to the new Fairway in Pelham Manor. Located about 20 minutes from the house, it is probably just as close at the one in Harlem that Mommy went to when she was in Grad School. That said, this place is HUGE and clean and well-stocked with everything. Amazing. Clara and Emma got a free chocolate chip cookie from the guys at the bakery for their cute smiles and got free rice pop cakes, which kept them quiet on most of the shopping trip. Another great point is that they have tons of people available to assist with anything- apparently including entertaining kids while Mommy grabs things to put in the cart.

The kids enjoyed playing at Glen Island while Mommy did soem giveaways for a TRPG event.

This afternoon, Clara and Emma were thrilled to be invited next door by their favorite neighbors to bounce on their new trampoline and play on their new swingset (Clara and Emma have inherited the old one- being installed over the next week or so). Clara and Emma just loved jumping up and down! And, Clara couldn't get enough of the rock climbing wall on the swingset and did it all by herself. She also did the monkey bars, with a little assist from Mommy.

Clara's line of the night before going to bed, after Mommy put her in the crib and tucked her in "good job Mommy."
