After school, Mommy took Clara and Emma to the Dobbs Diner for lunch. They had a blast and enjoyed applesace, grilled cheese and chocolate milk (out of a "new top" as Clara mentioned).
The afternoon featured painting in the kitchen with waterproof paint markers. Clara and Emma loved it and it was everywhere- on the table, on the floor, on their clothes and all over their hands and face. It meant a bath at 4, but there was no other way!
Clara's really been excited to help recently. She comes over when Mommy or Daddy is unloading the dishwasher and says "help you." Daddy has a routine on the weekends when he does the unloading where he gives her things and she takes them to the little table and then he puts them away. Mommy just tells her what she can take out and then she hands it to Mommy who puts it away.
