Clothing Tantrums

Yet another tantrum filled morning from Clara when it came to getting dressed. She wanted the shirt and sweatshirt that Emma was wearing. Then she grabbed the purple socks and threw them saying she needed pink. Only saving grace was that Mommy put both Clara and Emma in the same color leggings.

Resolution: Mommy is going to take the idea from the mom of one of their classmates. Lay out a few options the night before and let her pick it out. Stay tuned to see if it works.

And, yes, Grandma Frome, Mommy totally recognizes that she too was known to have fits over red tights and that this is yet another case of "it will come back to haunt you."

While Clara and Emma were at school and celebrating their classmate Gabriella's third birthday, Mommy went to a meeting about Clara's early intervention. The meeting was just to check in on her progress.

Mommy is happy to report that the ladies slept for their usual 2 hours- so maybe it is just taking them a little time to adjust to a 12:30 nap?

This afternoon, the ladies headed to Citibabes for a TRPG monthly playdate. Clara left the house in ten necklaces, the purple tutu and the minnie mouse ears. Emma tried a few things on from the dress up box and kept asking "How do I look?" Mommy felt like she was on the show "What Not to Wear" on TLC....
