This morning, while coloring the cards, Emma announced "This is how I color a card." She's done this with a few other things and it sounds like she got it from Elmo where the kids go "This is how I...."
Clara and Emma played very nicely with their cousins. They both tried Wii and chess (interupting Daddy's game with Matt), chased Andrew around, played with Kai Lan figures and read Fancy Nancy with Kayla and built things with Michael. For Clara, the highlight had to be finding a guitar and walking around playing it and doing a few words to "I've been working on the railroad."
Clara's skin on her face is very dry and Mommy keeps trying to put lotion on her face and she runs away. Last night, Mommy told Clara that it was "special princess cream," and she let Mommy put it on. Tonight, she and Emma asked to to it themselves and put their hands in the cream and shmeared it all over the face. At least their faces got the cream it needed
