I Just Can't Win

On Friday, the gang woke up to a snowy beautiful morning. There wasn't too much snow, not even an inch, and Daddy cleared it up before he went to work. Speech was moved to 10, so Clara and Emma enjoyed some coloring (with Clara taking all the crayons and Emma having none... again). And, they played more "doctor." Emma sometimes calls the stethescope a "telescope," and sometimes gets it right.

Mommy's favorite Emma quote of the day, "I just can't win." Heard while she and Clara were chasing each other around the house about a bandana.


Clara has always wanted more sleep than Emma. While she has adjusted to Emma's schedule, for the past week, still while fighting this cold, has said "nap" or "crib" and walked over to it and wanted to go to sleep. Emma isn't quite tired yet and will put up a fight. Today, since Clara isn't 100%, let Clara go to sleep a little earlier and put down Emma a little later.

In the afternoon, the ladies enjoyed playing at Kidville for a TRPG event. It was a great turnout. Clara and Emma enjoyed hiding together in one of the toys and liked jumping onto the bean bag chairs.

Today, Mommy left before the ladies woke up to check out SoulCycle- it is a new spinning studio that is from NYC that opened in Scarsdale this week. It was fantastic.

Clara and Emma loved playing with their peg toys and doctor and enjoyed checking the ears on their dolls, each other and Mommy and Daddy.

This afternoon, it was off to a birthday party where there was music and Clara and Emma both showed off their moves.
