Nursery School Photo Day

It wasn't a pretty morning in the Gornstein house.

Today was school picture day. Mommy called the school because Emma seemed fine, but since it wasn't 24 hours since she last puked, Mommy didn't know what to do. The school said to take her in for the picture and then go. Clara walked in the class and Mommy took Emma upstairs. Emma cried and cried because she wanted to be in the class. Then, they came upstairs- Mommy even heard Clara asking for Emma, and Clara ran over with excitement.

Clara cried when it was her turn - and tried a few times for a pictures, which was generous of the school, but wanted nothing to do with it.

Clara actually sat down next to Emma for the class photo and stayed, but they had to get some things right, and in the end, Clara got up and came over to Mommy crying and didn't end up in the class photo. Funny part was Emma sat with her legs crossed like a young lady. She was holding a little stuffed puppy- which for some reason, the photographer felt she needed to take away, but Emma clung on tight- which is totally fine- hello, a stuffed animal for a 2 year old is fine!

But, Clara found a scooter and the photographer was able to take a picture of her and some of her and Emma together.

Now, Mommy understands why parents shouldn't be at these things, but this was a special circumstance and to be honest, all of the 2's that go 3 days came with their parents and so did another kid in their class.

Anyhow, Mommy realized that leaving with just Emma was probably not a good idea, so Mommy took both kids home.

After their nap (another good 2 hour one), it was off to Citibabes for the Melissa Green concert. Before the show, they both colored cards to be donated to children in Haiti. Clara and Emma had a blast!
