Clara and Emma slept until 8:30 today. Mommy isn't sure if they are shifting their schedule or making up for sleep, but all are trying to go with the flow. It didn't give much time for breakfast (which they didn't eat anyhow) or dressing them before heading out to school. Clara and Emma were excited to learn that their first activity at school was painting!
Since they had slept so late, Mommy knew that they'd need to stay up later, so took the ladies to Stew's. Both wanted a cookie and saw the "sparkler" cookies as Emma said and "pink" cookies as Clara noticed and requested the box. The loved stopping at the different "activities" throughout the store. The only problem was that the animals are away for the winter and Emma was dissapointed.
Their nap wasn't great, so Mommy was glad that the gang had plans with Marci and her kids Matthew and baby Sarah. Emma and Clara knew that was the house with the little piano that they love to play!
When Clara talked to Grandma today, Mommy asked Clara where Grandma Frome lives. Clara said "Maryland." Then, Mommy asked her where Uncle Adam lives. Clara replied, "Texas." As for where she lives, her reply "my house."
Emma's been saying "that's a good choice," after she picks something to eat or do.
Tonight's bath was eventful too. Mommy stepped out for a moment to get a towel and came back to find poop on the bathroom floor and Emma throwing more out.
Mommy was making dinner for Daddy and Emma came in the kitchen. Since she basically had applesauce and parmesan cheese for dinner (she dumped it on the peirogies and didn't really eat them), she was probably hungry and said "I want that." So, Mommy gave her some figuring she'd spit it out. But, alas, she didn't and announced "I like that, delicious!" She and Clara even ate some roasted turnips.
